Sustainable Living
For more than a decade, we have been committed to eco-friendly living concepts and the development of sustainable accommodation. What began as Offenbach’s first eco shared-living project has evolved into a forward-looking model for responsible living.

Sustainable Furnishings & Materials
To keep our ecological footprint as small as possible, we rely on sustainable materials and durable furniture manufactured in Germany.
- ECO DESIGN furniture from our own workshop – durable, repairable, and regionally produced
- High-quality materials: steel, hardwood (oak/ash), leather, and glass
- Short transport routes: furniture production in Germany, in the Bauhaus city of Dessau

- Partnership with a local beekeeper: beehives on the property to promote biodiversity
- Support for urban gardens: collaboration with the “Intercontinental Gardens” initiative
- Energy-efficient laundry care: in-house laundry without ironing to reduce CO₂ emissions

Our Milestones in Sustainable Living
Since 2007, we have been committed to sustainable living concepts and urban eco-tourism. From the first eco shared-living projects and the renaturation of urban spaces to the creation of Green Residence, our development has been shaped by innovation, environmental awareness, and the vision of sustainable, stylish living.
The idea of developing eco-tourism within the city has been part of our company philosophy since 2007. Early eco shared-living projects with high energy-saving potential were developed and implemented in key urban areas of Offenbach: in the eastern district near Ostpol, in the northern district near Büsing Park, and in the city center on Kaiserstraße.
From 2012 onwards, eco shared-living projects were developed in Leipzig, near the horse racing track and inner-city park areas on Schlegelstraße. This marked the creation of the first Green Residence as an eco shared-living concept for short- and long-term stays.
Between 2012 and 2014, the ecological gastronomy project Manaia was developed in the protected natural and landscape conservation area along the River Main, contributing to urban eco-tourism. With the support of numerous partners, the riverbank area was renaturalized, including the Main promenade near the riverside parking area.
From 2014 onwards, Green Residence eco accommodation businesses were established in Offenbach city center near the main train station, including Green Residence Villa am Park on Bismarckstraße.
Since 2018, the Green Residence Design Lofts / Apartments & Lofts have been developed in Leipzig’s southern district (Südvorstadt) on Riemannstraße.
